10th Annual Bikes For Tykes Poker Run

This Poker Run began like last year's, cool in the AM but soon became very warm. Jackets came off and 385 waviers were filled out making it our largest ever Poker Run in Collier County, Florida.

We again started out at "Porky's BBQ" and the route was the same as last year, Tippisy Seagull our first stop and then on to Backwater Nick's on Isles of Capri, back on the road to the famous Stan's Idlehour Grill in Goodland, Florida.

The livations were cool and satisfying and the entertainment at Stans is lively as always. So soon it was back on the road to our final/starting point, Porky's and the fun with a 50/50, that paid over $400, and lots of silent auction goodies. Bob Butcher (one of our Bikes For Tykes Board members) as always was our MC (he is the one with the Buffalo Headress on).

Bob and his hand picked crew deserve our "THANKS" as they did a WONDERFUL JOB.

The final tally for the day for Bikes For Tykes, Inc. was a little over $5200 after expenses. NOT-BAD-AT-ALL!

Thank You's go out to the Harley Owner's Group (HOG), Harley Davidson of Naples, the staff of Porkey's BBQ, and of course all of the GREAT bike riders who made this a big success.
